Service Learning Ideas

This year for service learning I want to do tutoring like last year because I enjoyed it and I like working with kids. This is important because a lot of student are falling behind in school, not because there stupid but the teachers aren't able to give them the attention they need. Public schools are very big and it is very hard for for one teacher to be able to teach and keep the class in order. Last year the teachers were very grateful for our assistance and hopefully we were helpful to the students. If I cant do tutoring than I would like to volunteer at the nursing homes and help the elderly.
